Installation Instructions....

The unregisterd version of VB Data Companion does not come with 
a setup and installation procedure. To do so would increase the 
download time of the zip file considerably.

To avoid any setup and execution problems I would recommend you 
did the following procedure...

1. Unzip the files in DC.ZIP to a directory of your choice eg. c:\dc

2. Move the VBX and DLL files to your windows\system directory

3. Make an Icon of the dc.exe on your desktop with the Windows Program Manager 


VB Data Companion provides the VB programmer with all the 
utilities necessary to create, maintain, and query Access 1.1 and
2.0 Databases. VB Data Companion allows the VB programmer to 
easily manipulate the data dictionary of an Access database, and to 
perform common maintenance on the Dictionary without having to 
write programs. It also has a powerful SQL Query By Example tool, 
enabling you to build complex SQL statements simply by 
pointing and dragging objects across the screen. VB Data 
Companion also allows the programmer to edit the contents of a 
returned SQL Dynaset in a fully editable grid. If you develop 
programs with VB 3.0 and want to work with Access Databases, 
then VB Data Companion is indispensable !
